The National Purchasing Institute's 40th Annual Conference will be held September 21-24, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. You are officially invited to attend this outstanding opportunity as an exhibitor or sponsor! The conference will be held at the Riviera Hotel and Casino http://www.rivierahotel.com/. This is an excellent opportunity to mix with public purchasing officials from around the country!
This year, we took all of your suggestions into consideration when we designed the packages for sponsorships and exhibitors and came up with what we believe to be excellent networking opportunities for you and your associates. Please take a moment to consider the attached information. You'll notice that, as a result of suggestions from many of our vendor partners, the networking opportunity packages have been designed to maximize vendor and delegate interaction, both professionally and socially.
The Products Exposition will begin on Tuesday, September 23, but you'll want to be here that Sunday, September 21 to take advantage of all the networking opportunities with the NPI delegates.
As an exhibitor or sponsor, you will have the opportunity to visit one-on-one with governmental purchasing professionals from all over the United States. Suppliers are an integral part of the NPI Conference and are welcome at the many conference functions.
The Conference Program has been designed to facilitate networking opportunities with NPI’s membership throughout the entire conference, starting with the Welcome Reception, Opening Ceremony and Breakfast, Presidential Gala Dinner, Buyer/Supplier Roundtable Luncheon, Product Expo, Wine and Cheese Reception and many other great educational opportunities that will be announced at a later date.
The Products Exposition Chair, Michele Brand of the City of Mesquite, Texas and Co-chair, Ron Williamson of the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments, are working hard to obtain exhibitors to showcase the latest in products, technology and services designed to add value to the delegate’s entities operations. On Sunday night, the Conference will begin with the Welcome Reception. The Presidential Gala Dinner and 40th NPI Celebration will be held on Monday night. The next day, Tuesday, is the Products Exposition. The afternoon will be filled with lots of interaction with the delegates beginning with a Vender/Delegate Roundtable Luncheon. After the luncheon, we will officially open the Products Exposition. The wine and cheese social will be held immediately following the Expo in the exhibit hall. As you can see, the conference is full of opportunities for vendors and delegates to participate together.
A 10% discount on conference registration will be given to attendees recruited by vendors. Simply provide your business card to the attendee to be submitted with their conference registration.
